Associate

Desirée is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office. A New Orleans native and fourth generation graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, Desirée began her legal career as an assistant district attorney under the Honorable Paul D. Connick, Jr. at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. There, she was assigned to the misdemeanor trial and felony appellate and post-conviction divisions, practicing in both state and federal courts. Desirée successfully upheld felony convictions on appeal in over 100 cases and successfully argued before the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and Louisiana Supreme Court. She remained with the DA’s office through 2012, when she then became a research attorney to the Honorable Judge Hans J. Liljeberg at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Desirée joined White Andrews, LLC in 2015.
